Sandblasted Trani marble

Sandblasting gives the surface a fine, matt grain, while the chipped edges take every stiffness out of the laying. A sober, even finish, meant for outdoor areas and rooms of essential design.

A finer grain than bush-hammering

The abrasive jet opens the surface far more finely: the grain is there, but it is regular and underfoot it does not read as roughness. The chipped edges take the geometric stiffness out of a coursed lay.

The compromise for liveable outdoor spaces

Terraces, sun decks, the pool surrounds of villas, where grip is needed but people walk barefoot. Where traffic is vehicular or water is constant, bush-hammering is the better choice.

It stays pale

It does not yellow and does not polish up along the traffic lines, which is what happens instead to honed finishes used outdoors.
