A single material runs through the whole house: the courtyard with the ancient olive tree, the living room facing the countryside, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the terrace above the pool. The cut changes, not the stone.

The context

A house open onto the landscape, with large windows that erase the line between inside and out. A different floor for each area would have broken the continuity; what was needed was one surface alone, standing up to sun and water outdoors and staying pleasant barefoot indoors.

The work

Natural stone paving, Trani marble included, for indoors and out: slabs of regular format in the house, steps and stairs in the courtyard, flush surfaces around the pool. In the bathrooms the stone returns as basin and as worktop.
