Biancone is the palest, most compact layer of the quarry. «Extra» refers to the selection: slabs with marked veining are set aside and only the constant colour is kept. The saw-honed finish closes the pores without taking the stone to a mirror.
Formal interiors, living rooms, spaces where the furniture or the artwork has to come first. We also use it when the design calls for large continuous surfaces with no visual disturbance.
Being the palest selection, it is the one where stains show first. In a kitchen or dining area the water- and oil-repellent treatment is not optional; once that is done, it cleans like any other stone floor.
