Shade-varied white marble

A pale marble in which every slab has a slightly different tone: that is the shade variation, which gives the floor movement and takes away the flat effect of surfaces that are all alike. The pre-honed, antiqued and brushed finish softens edges and surface.

What shade variation means

The slabs are deliberately composed in different tones, from ivory to warm white. It is a selection choice made before the working; after it come an antiqued pre-honing and a brushing, which soften edges and surface.

Where it works best

Large interiors, where a uniform background would show every joint: dining rooms, open-plan spaces, entrances. It works on walls too, and can go from floor to cladding without the room turning monotonous.

The practical benefit of the variation

A slab replaced years later goes unnoticed, because the difference between pieces is already there by design. On single-tone floors every repair stays visible for good.
