Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a site saves in the browser of the person visiting it. They serve to remember something from one page to the next: a preference, a session, or the fact that this person has been here before. On this page, for convenience, we also call «cookies» the similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage.
What this site actually uses
This site is made of static pages: it has no restricted area, it has no basket and it writes no cookies of its own. The only thing we save directly is your choice on consent, and it is not even a cookie: it sits in the browser's local storage, it is sent to nobody and it stays on your device until you clear the site's data.
All the other cookies come from Google, and only dopo you have accepted them.
Necessary
They serve to make the site work and to protect it. They require no consent, because without them the site could not be delivered.
| Name | Who sets it | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
df-consenso | this site (local storage, not a cookie) |
Remembers the choice made on this banner, so you are not asked on every page. | until you clear the browser's data |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes people from automated programs and protects the site from abuse. It may never appear during a normal visit. | 30 minutes |
Statistical — Google Analytics
They tell us how many people visit the site, where they come from and which pages they read. We use them to understand what is useful and what is not. They only start if you accept them.
| Name | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another. | 13 months |
_ga_Q6LRG1YEFD | Keeps the state of the visit for our Analytics property. | 13 months |
_gid | Distinguishes visitors within the course of the day. | 24 hours |
The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited. You will find their notice at policies.google.com/privacy.
Marketing — Google Ads
They serve to understand which adverts bring real enquiries and to avoid showing the same advertising to those who have already contacted us. They only start if you accept them.
| Name | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Links the visit to the advert you arrived from, to measure conversions. | 90 days |
Google may also set cookies on its own domains (doubleclick.net,
google.com) when its services are active.
How consent works
On the first visit a banner appears with two choices. Until you choose, and if you choose «Necessary only», Analytics and Ads write no cookies at all: we use Google's consent mode (Consent Mode), which keeps its services in a state where they cannot identify you and cannot read from or write to your device.
By choosing «Accept» you authorise the statistical and marketing cookies described above.
Changing your mind
The choice can be withdrawn at any time, and there is no need to write to us: it is enough to clear the site's data from the browser. On your next visit the banner reappears and you will be able to decide again.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage website data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data.
You can also disable or block cookies in general from your browser settings. The necessary parts of this site will carry on working.
