The working
It is the same hand working as the classic chianca, on a selection of much paler blocks. Brushing removes the soft part of the surface and leaves an open grain, and that grain is what gives grip when the stone is wet.
White Trani chianca
The palest variant of the Trani chianca, hand-worked and brushed. The almost white colour reflects the light and lifts terraces, sun decks and poolsides, where this stone is at home.

Why it works around water
Terraces, sun decks, pool surrounds, outdoor stairs. The near-white colour reflects radiation instead of absorbing it, and barefoot in August you feel the difference. It is also why this selection costs more than the beige chianca.
Chlorine, salt and limescale
Chlorine and salt do not attack it. Limescale from the water does, but it stays on the surface and comes off with water and a neutral detergent. Descalers and acidic products should not be used: they are the only real way to ruin it.
